The Shipping Queen

So I was checking wikipedia randomly the other day, and I found some information about Ingela Gathenhielm, a Swedish female pirate who ran her husband's privateer empire in the early 1700's. I did some research on her husband Lars a few years ago, but I didn't actually find the information about his wife back then. It's actually very interesting.

I wanted to draw a pirate woman for some reason, so I took some inspiration from early 1700's clothing with a lot of freedom, of course.

I'm pretty happy with it, but it's a little bit busy since I went overboard with the stripes.
